For over 2,000 years, mankind has used catapults to launch projectiles. In this exciting event, you’ll learn about the energy and force it takes for modern-day “chunkin” enthusiasts to launch pumpkins into world record history. Participants will build and test catapults for distance and accuracy. To wrap up the lab, you’ll create your own unique elastic energy launcher and see how it performs in our “pumpkin chunkin” challenge.
